Ok….confession time. I love Elmo! I’m a grown up but Elmo brings a smile to my face. I have a Tickle Me Elmo and a Rock-n-Roll Elmo and I received both as a grown up. Yup. Now Elmo is working with one of my favorite things….dogs!
This video put the biggest smile on my face! Sesame Street fans and animal lovers will love this. Elmo bonded with a puppy this summer named Tango, and now he’s on a mission to help Tango and other pets find their forever home. Sesame Street is partnering with The Dodo to combine real life adoption stories with all your favorite Muppet characters in a new series. By the way, Tango is precious!
In Families For Furry Friends, Elmo will serve as an apprentice to an actual shelter worker named Elli Frank. Her job is to match rescue dogs with caring “forever families”. Although Elmo is new to working in an animal shelter, he has quite the knack for bonding with dogs. No matter what makes each dog special, Elmo figures out what they love and enjoy.
Although they are wild at times, my rescue dogs Kramer and Eddy brighten my life. Going through radiation for breast cancer is hard but coming home to silly pups helps!
