Imagine Spending Halloween At One Of America’s Most Haunted Hotels

Whether you actually believe in ghosts or not, once the seed is planted that a place is haunted, you’ll be left wondering about every bump in the night. Especially if you’re spending the night.

Fox News looked into hotels across America that are allegedly haunted. These seven certainly are rich in history; but how willing are you to interact with that history? And could you imagine spending Halloween in one of them?

America’s Most Haunted Hotels

• The 1886 Crescent Hotel and Spa in Eureka Springs, Arkansas

  Its website boasts "hundreds of tales of paranormal experiences." Room 218, a.k.a. "Michael's Room," is said to be the most haunted.

• Hotel Galvez & Spa in Galveston, Texas

  The hotel has several ghosts including the "Love Lorn Lady" and a nun, "Sister Katherine," who died alongside 90 orphans in the hurricane of 1900, which killed thousands of people in Galveston.

• Hotel Monte Vista in Flagstaff, Arizona

  Several ghosts have reportedly been seen or heard at the hotel. Room 305 is said to be the most active. Keep your eyes open for a woman in a rocking chair.
• The Marshall House in Savannah, Georgia

  It served as a hospital during the Civil War. According to their website, "Rumors and reports include guests seeing ghosts in the hallways and foyers, hearing children running down the long, narrow halls late at night, faucets turning on by themselves, and much more."

• The Myrtles Plantation in St. Francisville, Louisiana

  Built in 1796, the bed & breakfast claims that at least two ghosts have been spotted on the premises since the 1990s.

• The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado

  Stephen King wrote his novel 'The Shining' based on this hotel. Enough said.
• Union Station Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee

  A brokenhearted woman named Abigail, who lived during World War II, is said to haunt Room 711.
