Teen Moses Parts ‘Red Sea’ At Basketball Game
Basketball games sometimes go into O.T., as in overtime. At one recent game, however, the O.T. they went into was the Old Testament.
The Book of Exodus tells of Moses leading the Israelites out of their captivity in Egypt. When they came to the Red Sea, Moses held out his staff and God parted the water so that the Israelites could safely pass across dry land.
Fast forward to 2022 A.D. A teenager dressed as Moses appeared at a high school basketball game to lead the student section in a boisterous cheer. He then recreated the Exodus story with his own staff and parted a sea of red. All of the students were wearing red t-shirts and they played along perfectly. You can see for yourself below. I’m certain any Sunday School teacher would give them an A+ for creativity.
