Boy Meets Sloth While Zip-Lining In Rainforest
If you’ve ever gone zip-lining at the U.S. National Whitewater Center, the attentive staff always make sure the line is clear before allowing the next person to zip. But I suppose it would be possible for something to go undetected. A bird might land on the line, for example. Or something larger.
A video posted to Facebook has gone viral due to the mid-zip collision captured on it. According to the New York Post, the clip was filmed on March 13th at the Go Adventure Arenal Park in La Fortuna, Costa Rica. It shows a boy starting his trip down a zip line through the rainforest when he suddenly encountered an exotic obstruction.
The boy bumped into a furry sloth that had made its way onto the zip line and was hanging upside down. Neither the boy nor the sloth was injured, but the video ends with the calm boy dangling from the line saying, “I just clocked it in the face!” I think a lot of us would have freaked out in that situation.
