Kelce Brothers Face Off In Super Bowl As Mom Watches
The match-up is set for Super Bowl LVII in Glendale, Arizona. The Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Philadelphia Eagles in the annual clash for the Vince Lombardi Trophy on Sunday, February 12th. By all accounts, this should be a close game.
Some are calling this year’s game the “Andy Reid Bowl” because the Chiefs head coach Andy Reid formerly coached the Eagles. Others are referring to it as the “Kelce Bowl” due to the fact that Travis Kelce is the star tight end for Kansas City, while his big brother, Jason Kelce, starts at center for Philly. And there in lies the dilemma for one woman — Donna Kelce.
As you’ve probably guessed, Donna is the mother of the Kelce brothers. Following the Chiefs’ AFC Championship win over Cincinnati on Sunday (1/29), Travis said, “My mom can’t lose.” But she might be conflicted. Donna has been put in the unique position of celebrating and crying at the same time when the game is over.
What’s also remarkable is that both Jason and Travis are already NFL champions. Jason’s Eagles knocked off New England in Super Bowl LII, and Travis’ Chiefs won it all just three years ago. The good news for the football-loving Kelce family is that since both Jason and Travis are offensive players, they won’t go head to head on the field in this one.
