This North Carolina Beach Town Is A Great Place To Vacation With Your Dog

It’s time to lock down your summer vacation plans and there’s plenty to think about, especially if you have pets. If your family includes a dog or two, you might be looking into boarding or pet-sitting options. But wouldn’t it be more fun to take your fur babies with you? The folks at Little Things found some great vacation destinations across the U.S. that are definitely dog-friendly. One of them just happens to be right here in North Carolina!

Perched along the Crystal Coast, Emerald Isle offers plenty of sand for digging, water for splashing, and seagulls for chasing on the beach. When it’s time to take a break from the sun, you can go into town and check out Muttigans for a variety of both human and canine refreshments. In addition to coffee, tea, and frappés for you, Muttigans is well stocked with plenty of pet food, treats, toys, and tasty pup cups.
