Man Finds Out Dog Is Limping Out Of Sympathy
We really don’t deserve dogs. It’s amazing what they will do to show us how much they love us. A man in England found out how much his dog truly loved him after paying a $400 vet bill.
Rusell Jones got into an accident and broke his ankle. He had to wear a cast for while and he needed crutches to walk. Despite his injury, Jones still took his nine year old dog Bill out for his daily walk. And that’s when the story gets interesting.
Bill the dog began to exhibit some issues in his leg. The dog started limping. Jones, like any dog owner, thought that maybe Bill hurt his paw on one of their walks. When the limp continued, Jones called their vet. After a full examination and X-rays, the vet could find nothing wrong with the pup. Physically, everything was fine but Bill was still hopping around with one leg in the air.
Jones came up with an experiment to see if he could figure out why Bill was limping. He asked his wife Michelle to take the dog into the garden and play with him for a bit. When the dog was left alone with Michelle, his limp went away.
When the dog was with Michelle, no limp. But when Bill went on a walk with Rusell, his limp would reappear. After a few days of trying this, Jones realized that Bill was limping out of sympathy for him!
The story was shared on social media, and Bill the dog became an overnight sensation. Millions of people fell in love with Bill. The dog even has his own Instagram account now.
