Vote Kramer And Eddy For Calendar Cover Model And Help Other Rescue Animals
I’ve become a stage mom. Well, a dog stage mom. The 2022 Clifford Rescue Calendar Challenge is a rescue organization that is looking for a new pup for their calendar cover. I’ve entered Kramer and Eddy.
Clifford’s Army Rescue rescues abused, neglected and abandoned animals from Kill Shelters, owner surrender and general abandonment. They operate solely on donations, and the time of tireless volunteers and fosters. These folks are an amazing group! This group takes in animals that others may have given up on. Besides helping the animals, the group also helps people in the community by providing assistance and education to those unable to afford food, vet care including spay/neuter and any other needs for these animal(s).
I adopted Eddy from this awesome group. She was rescued from a horrible hoarding situation in Rockingham. When Eddy was taken in, she was basically a feral dog. Her intake picture will break your heart. All you can see is a head and legs…she was that skinny. Tammy Freeman is one of the folks that helps to rescue and rehabilitate these animals and she is truly amazing! She worked with Eddy for approximately eight months before Eddy was ready for adoption.
Eddy has been with me now for about three months, and she’s doing great however she’s still a bit skittish.
As much as I love Eddy, I think Kramer would make a better cover model. I rescued Kramer two years ago. According to the shelter, someone threw him out of a car. Luckily some folks saw what happened and brought Kramer to Gaston County Animal Care and Enforcement. I saw his picture on their Facebook page and went to see him the next day. When I saw him I knew he was supposed to be mine.
Kramer’s pictures have been popular on social media and I must say, he is so photogenic! And I’ll admit that Kramer is THE sweetest dog I’ve ever had. He loves every person and every dog he meets. Not to play favorites but he’d be perfect for a calendar cover! So many people that see his pics say he should be a doggie model.
No matter which animal wins, voting helps to rescue other animals and help those in serious need. All of the animals in the running for the cover have amazing rescue stories and because of Clifford’s Army, they are still alive. And the rescue organization is a registered 501(c)(3), non-profit organization, your donations to C.A.R.E. could be tax deductible.

Obviously, I’m biased because I think my babies are the cutest but there are so many gorgeous animals up for the cover. All of these animals are winners!
You can vote for Kramer, Eddy, and all the other contestants here. And thank you to all of the unreal folks that continue to save these animals!
