No matter which team you’re rooting for in the big game this year, you may also want to root for the game to go into overtime. If that happens, we’re all getting free food. For the fourth year in a row, Buffalo Wild Wings is offering football fans the chance to score some of their signature chicken wings for free. But it all depends on the score at the end of the fourth quarter.

According to Spoon University, if Kansas City and Philadelphia are tied after regulation and go into overtime on Sunday, February 12th, Buffalo Wild Wings will offer six free wings to everyone in North America. Fans will be able to go to the wing chain on Monday, February 27th, and grab six free boneless or traditional wings from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Buffalo Wild Wings has locations in Charlotte, Concord, Gastonia, Monroe, Rock Hill, Mooresville, Salisbury, and Hickory.

Unfortunately, history is not on our side. The last and only time the championship went into overtime was the 2017 match-up between Atlanta and New England. Kansas City and Philadelphia square off on Sunday, February 12th at 6:30pm EST at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Since Carolina isn’t playing, the only thing I’m rooting for is free wings!
