DiGiorno Offering Free Pizza For ‘Doinks’ During The Big Game
Kansas City and Philadelphia are getting ready for the big game on Sunday, February 12th in Glendale, Arizona. One of the most stressful positions to play in a championship football game is that of placekicker. It can all come down to a last second field goal or extra point and the last thing a kicker wants to hear is the dreaded “doink.”
What’s a doink? It’s the sound a football makes when it hits the goalpost and bounces off the upright or crossbar instead of sailing through cleanly. Depending on which team they’re on, it’s either the most delightful or deflating sound a player can hear. It can be emotional for the fans, too. But, either way, it could be your ticket to a free frozen pizza.
According to mashed, DiGiorno will be giving away free pizza when a doink occurs during the game. Fans can enter the contest online between February 4th and February 12th for a chance to win a coupon for a free pizza if a doink occurs during the big game. You’ll want to keep your eyes on Kansas City’s Harrison Butker and Philadelphia’s Jake Elliott.
The only hitch is that, in the past 10 years, there have only been three doinks during those games. However, according to BarDown, there is a possibility of double or even quadruple doinks during football games, so that could boost your chances of winning. It’s free to enter and no purchase is necessary. Good luck!
It's true: Starting 2/4, YOU could win FREE PIZZA! ‼🍕🏈
