Viral Video Of An Unlikely Suspect Stealing A Cooler At A Picnic
Picnics can be so much fun once the weather warms up. You get to nosh on tasty food, sit on a blanket in the sun, maybe have a beer or a glass of wine, and enjoy nature. Many of us have encountered ants ruining a picnic. It’s very doubtful you’ve had a picnic ruined by this type of animal!
According to MSN, a group of older folks were on a safari in South Africa when they decided to stop and have a little picnic. The group was touring a game reserve in the Greater Kruger National Park Area and stopped their Jeep for a quick bite.
The two women and one man got all their picnic supplies out of the Jeep and arranged on the ground when they had a ‘picnic crasher’ descend upon their feast. A massive crocodile came out of the water nearby and decided to invite itself to their picnic. As the crocodile came out of the water, the three on safari got back into their Jeep. The crocodile walked up to their cooler full of beer and wine and rested its head there.
While standing in the Jeep, the gentleman with the group begins filming the crocodile, providing amusing dialog. In the video you see the huge animal just resting its head on the cooler. The croc is not interested in the food beside it. The man then pans to the water, where you can see another crocodile lurking.
The man tells the crocodile that his behavior is not ‘gentlemanly’ as the large animal takes the cooler into the water. The second crocodile latches on to the cooler too, and then the two animals swim away with it. The man films the entire event, and it’s going viral on social media.
It’s a trip to watch the video however, I found the calmness of the folks on safari even more amazing. They sound so calm! I think I’d need a new pair of pants asap if I was that close to a huge crocodile. The folks are laughing and seem so unfazed by the animal. I guess it’s safer to remain calm. This is why I stay away from nature! Too damn scary for me!
