Real Life ‘Snoopy Dog’ Is Going Viral And He’s Adorable
I’m a huge dog fan! I’ve had dogs all of my life. I grew up with a German Shepherd, a Chow-Chow, and a Pomeranian. But one of the first dogs I ever loved was Snoopy. Snoopy, the adorable, mischievous dog from the ‘Peanuts’ gang, has always been a favorite of mine. I even had a stuffed Snoopy that you could dress as a kid. Now a real-life Snoopy look-a-like is going viral on social media and I think this is as close as you can get to Snoopy!
The dog’s name is Bayley and he’s a sheepadoodle. I know there are lots of different ‘doodle’ breeds, but I’ve never heard of this one. A sheepadoodle is a cross between an English sheepdog and a miniature poodle. They’re known for being friendly and very playful. Usually, the dogs grow to be around 40 pounds. Bayley has a white face, a jet-black nose, and black ears. If you find a little bird that looks like Woodstock, you could make a show!
Bayley is a year old and already has over 150,000 followers on Instagram. According to People, Bayley’s fame started when his owner posted a picture of him on the Instagram account Doodle Dogs Club.
Since Bayley’s picture has appeared on Instagram, thousands of people have commented on it in the last three days. Many making comparisons to Snoopy. I’ll admit that when I read the headline that a dog looks like Snoopy, I wasn’t ready for the similarity. This dog looks like it’s fake! Bayley could be mistaken for a stuffed animal. I just wanna kiss his nose!
I’m not sure if Hollywood is planning a ‘Peanuts’ live action film anytime soon, but if they’re planning on it, this is the dog that needs to play Snoopy. Perfect match!
