A Gorilla And A New Mom Bond Over Their Babies
This is one of the coolest videos! Gorilla’s are amazing animals. They’re so much like us! And there’s video to prove it.
The internet is going wild over a video of a gorilla and a human bonding over their babies at Boston’s Franklin Park Zoo. In the video, Kiki the gorilla gazes at Emmelina Austin’s sleeping newborn son, Canyon, through the glass.
Watching this will melt your heart. You can see that KiKi is taken by the baby as she stares at it lovingly. Kiki is a mother of five and you can tell she has that “motherly” instinct. At one point in the video, Kiki brings her seven month old son Pablo to the glass so that he can see baby Canyon.
Here’s a gorilla brining her baby to show to a new mother. Wild! Although I don’t know a ton about them, I’m always so fascinated by gorillas. They’re so close to humans.
The employees at the zoo say that Kiki has taken interest in other babies that have visited the zoo. She’s quite the the mom too. Kiki didn’t put Pablo down for the first two months. She held him 24/7 and the father of Pablo still isn’t allowed to come too close to him.
