Thursday (8/26) is National Dog Day. What better time than that to take your furry friend for a ride somewhere? I’m glad I finally have a dog that likes riding in the car. That wasn’t always the case in our family. Let’s just say I’ve cleaned up a lot of puppy puke over the years.

Of course, some vehicles are better than others for transporting our dogs around. AutoTrader has come out with their list of the 2021 Best New Cars for Dog Lovers. The ten vehicles on the list were chosen based on features such as interior durability and space, vehicle comfort, convenience, and safety. It helps if they have seats that are easy to clean, a low cargo floor so your dog can get in and out easily, and tie-down hooks to keep your pooch secure. Here’s the list:
