Dog Pulls Mom To See New Best Friend Daily In Hopes She’ll Finally Pet Him
I may have mentioned a few hundred times that I love Halloween and dogs. This story combines both and it’s so darn cute!
Atlas is just under a year old. He’s a Golden Retriever and so far his favorite thing about life is meeting new people. And Atlas is like my dog Kramer….they’ve never met a stranger. Every day Atlas and his mom go on walks around their neighborhood. They were walking recently and Erin Lundy, the mom of Atlas, saw that some neighbors put up some fun Halloween decorations. Atlas noticed too and seemed to really like one of the decorations.
Lundy tells The Dodo that Atlas quickly made his way over to the spooky witch decoration. He sat down in front of her, like a good boy, and waited for pets. He tried nudging her hands and sitting in plain view of her, but nothing happened. Poor Atlas was so patient, but sadly, his new witch friend refused to cooperate.
“I laughed pretty hard when I saw him trying to get pets from a Halloween decoration,” Lundy said. “It was endearing to see him so eager to make a friend. I don’t think he knew how to react to somebody not petting him either.”
Atlas left that day without getting pets from the witch — however, he refused to give up. He officially made it his mission to get the witch to notice him. Daily Atlas goes by to see his witch friend hoping she’ll pet him. HA!
Bless that sweet dog! He’s such a good boy and deserves pets. And he knows it! Now if only he can get the Halloween witch decoration to know it! The video is THE cutest thing!!!
