Shelter Writes Amusing Post About Ralphie The ‘Jerk’ Dog
Everyday scrolling through Facebook, I see a dog that needs a home. Phil has to talk me off the ledge as I can’t have a third dog in my small apartment. Nor can I afford one. But those sweet faces get me every time! A shelter in New York is trying to find a home for a ‘jerk’ dog with a funny post.
According to CNN, the Niagara SPCA is being totally upfront and honest about a dog that needs a home. They’ve posted on Facebook saying, ‘We don’t actually have too many nice things to say so we’re just going to come out with it. At first glance, he’s an adorable highly sought after, young dog. People should be banging down our doors for him.” They went on to note “Two weeks into this new home and he was surrendered to us because ‘annoys our older dog.’ What they actually meant was: Ralphie is a fire-breathing demon and will eat our dog, but hey, he’s only 26lbs,” and that Ralphie is a ‘whole jerk–not even half.’
LOL! Poor Ralphie! I’m sure he’s just a lively younger dog that needs some training. I’ll admit that I got Eddy to be a playmate for Kramer and she bothers him on a daily basis! She’s two years old and Kramer is almost six years old, so she has lots of energy. AND she’s part Jack Russell which means she’s a wild girl!
The shelter says they’ll throw in lesson’s with a trainer for anyone brave enough to adopt the dog. Ralphie looks like an English Bulldog and probably just needs the right trainer and some serious patience.
