The hamster, @blackgates2020 on TikTok, has a slew of followers that are loving everything he does. The spaghetti slurping video has over 100 million views so far.
Crumb Bum the Hamster is becoming quite popular on TikTok and for good reason. He's absolutely adorable. He's a bit on the chunky side which just adds to his 'Disney-like' looks. In the video, you see the brown and white fluffy hamster standing beside a big bowl of spaghetti. He's got his tiny paws around a string of pasta, munching away as if this is his usual dinner. When you watch the video, you have to have the sound up! Part of the cuteness comes from Crumb munching and eating his noodles. You can even see a bit of red sauce on his little front paws.
According to Mashed, hamsters can eat pasta. Whole grain pasta is healthier, like it is for humans, although it doesn't taste as good! Most hamsters prefer uncooked noodles as it gives them something to gnaw on. Too much isn't good for these little animals. Raw apples, bell peppers, carrots, and peas are healthier for a hamster, but only in small quantities. You don't want your little furry friend to have an upset stomach.
As a kid in the 1970's, we had hamsters. Unfortunately, our German Shepherd Blue licked them and killed them. He didn't try to eat them; he just gave them a lick! I'm not sure if they died from fear, since he was a big dog, or if it was the force of the lick. Either way it was a total bummer.
Looking at all of Crumb Bum's videos on TikTok, he's very popular. He's adorable!
Tired Of People? These Animals Will Make You Smile!
Every now and then, I feel like I've just had it with people. You've been there, right? But do you know who never lets me down? My dog, Daisy! Even if she has done something she shouldn't have, I can't stay mad at her. The same goes for other animals, too. I don't really want the deer to eat the hostas in our yard, but when I see it happening, I just stare in awe and wonder.
I guess that's the cure for feeling fed up with all of the ways in which our fellow humans disappoint us. Just spend more time watching animals! Here are a few funny and awe-inspiring animal videos that are sure to put a smile on your face:
