During Shows Counting Crows frontman Adam Duritz says he can’t believe the band is still going strong. In an interview with the Pocono Record, Duritz said “in a lot of ways our career should have been over a long time ago — bands just don’t last very long.” Instead, Counting Crows are still playing shows 30 years later: “It’s amazing and I find myself getting choked up about it during shows in ways I haven’t even thought about in the past.” Counting Crows will continue their U.S. tour through August, then head to Israel, Europe, and the UK in September and October. Some videos below to help you appreciate the musical contributions of Counting Crows. It’s nice when artists appreciate fans, crew and their careers.
