“Destroyed Sweater” Selling for $1,450 And It’s Not Even Cute
Luxury fashion brand Balenciaga has a new line of extremely distressed sweaters that look like they’ve been munched on by rats. And each sweater costs $1,450.
I’m not a fashion girl, and admittedly don’t get some of the high fashion looks. But this is crazy. Not only does the sweater look like moths got a hold of it, it’s not even cute!
Aptly named “Destroyed Crewneck,“ is made from “100% virgin wool,” although you couldn’t really tell by looking at it. The sweaters are made in Italy and come in an oversized fit. The “destroyed” sweaters have attracted a lot of criticism online.
Just in case you’re into the “destroyed” look, but don’t really like sweaters, know that Balenciaga has you covered. The famous brand also sells destroyed t-shirts and hoodies, so the coveted hobo look really is available to anyone, if they can afford it.
If you’re really into this look, let me know. You can buy any sweater and I’ll destroy if for ya for way less money! LOL! If the sweater was really cute, maybe I could understand. But it’s not! It’s so ugly! Never will I understand “high fashion”.
