Scientists have finally proved what conventional wisdom has been telling us for decades — that being stressed causes hair to go grey.  DUH! Truth told, if stress really does it, I should have white hair! Especially after my last divorce. LOL!

However researchers from Columbia University also found that the process can be reversed in hairs that have only recently turned grey. Reducing stress could stave off grey hair, scientists say, and  they are hoping that certain drugs can help as well.

I have been coloring my hair since I was around 30 years-old. I don't even know what my real hair looks like without color! My hair has been light and dark pink, red, black, brown, and once I even went blonde! NOT my color!

I am starting to see the grey in my hair though. aI haven't had a hair cut/color since the pandemic began. I can't decide if I want to try and let my hair go natural or if I want to color it.  I have a hair appointment scheduled for late June so I have some time to decide.

Many women are embracing their grey. I saw an article on Bored Panda today that showed pictures of different women letting their grey rock out. Some look as though their grey hairs have been colored with grey and black so that it all blends. I like it!

Take a look at the pics here. I really like the third picture....a good combo of grey and black combined. Looks cool! Check em out here.   You can read more on the article about stress and grey hair here. I say rock whatever you want! If you're happy, then go with it!
