It’s A Dog’s Christmas Song
How do you record a song that you know dogs will like?
They used scientific research . . . and surely they conducted some doggie focus groups . . . to put together a Christmas song that’s specifically made to appeal just to dogs.
Think about how much time we spend with our dogs. Do we really believe they like the same Christmas songs we do. They’re sick of Burl Ives. This year the dogs get their own song and no, dogs barking “Jingle Bells” doesn’t count.
They even recorded it at Abbey Road studios. That’s a pretty BIG DEAL.
The song is called “Raise the Woof” and it, quote, “uses a reggae beat and the sounds of bells, squeaky toys, and owners’ instructions to illicit a response from dogs.” Hope your dog is into it.
