Learn a New Skill While At Home
Everyone wants life to return to normal so badly that we can’t stand it. We watch the news, we get more depressed because we know the dangers are real, but that doesn’t make it an easier for us. I’ve dabbled with guitar since I was 12 years old so while working from home, I decided that after my workday I would work on learning some songs on guitar that had always gotten the best of me over the years. I’m happy to say that I have been able to finally learn those songs, but then what? In my office slash studio at home is an old electronic keyboard and not very expensive at that. I’ve always wanted to learn to play keyboards but just never really attempted other than playing “chopsticks”. So I quickly jumped on Amazon and bought a set of stickers to label the keyboard with the notes so I could begin to teach myself the keyboard with some help from Youtube.
Go ahead. Take this time to try something you’ve always wanted to do!
