Piers Morgan Goes In on Adele Over Las Vegas Residency
To say Piers Morgan is not happy with Adele for delaying her Las Vegas residency would be an understatement. Piers wrote a column in The Sun where he called Adele a disgrace and a privileged, pampered prima donna. He wrote, if Freddie Mercury can make an album as he was literally dying, then she could probably have found the inner strength to pocket $500,000 a night to sing a few songs even if the set design wasn’t absolutely perfect.
Piers was not done yet. He continued, it would appear health-obsessed Adele disappeared up her rapidly diminishing celebrity backside and no amount of weeping and wailing can change that very disappointing fact. Piers is hard on just about everyone. If you’ve watched any of Adel’s social media videos, I kind of felt bad for her that she “cared so much” that she wanted to get it right. Piers clearly has zero tolerance for Adel or anyone else he feels has dropped the proverbial ball. Maybe Adel’s new song “Easy On Me” should be taken to heart by Piers Morgan.
